Royal Rum
- Description
Rum Royale, the premium version of Rum Originals, is doubled in volume to reach 700 ml and has a hand-numbered silver label.
1 Add alcohol
You start by adding a clear liquor like Vodka or Dry Gin. Always make sure the alcohol contains at least 30% alcohol. Do not add rum as the wood chips will not have much effect on the rum. On the label, write the date of the bottle and the type of alcohol you used. If possible, try to use up any leftover alcohol you have at home.
2 The aging process
After filling your bottle, let it age in a cool, dark place. The wood chips will slowly begin to release their sweet vanilla and rum flavor and rich color. Don't hesitate to taste from time to time to see how the aromas evolve over time. This process takes about eight weeks, but feel free to find out what happens if you let it age longer.
3 Serve your own drink
After eight weeks, it's time to serve your own rum. Strain or pour the liquor carefully before drinking it. Make sure you don't pour any wood chips into your glass. Also, never eat the wood chips.
4 Well done!
Enjoy the experience responsibly.
