The cook's essentials: the vegetable knife

This knife is multi-purpose: turn, clean and peel vegetables while preserving their vitamins.

It is equipped with a 7 cm blade and a beech handle, the wood most used by Opinel.

Features :

• Martensitic stainless steel which has high hardness thanks to the addition of nitrogen (0.15%) and superior corrosion resistance thanks to a high level of chromium (16%).
• Beech is the wood most used for manufacturing Opinel handles. Coming from French farms, it is hard, resistant and easy to work. With a homogeneous appearance, its light color varies from yellow to pink. It is recognizable by the presence of numerous small dark lines. The handle is varnished to be better protected against humidity and dirt.
