Perfect for athletes and young adventurers. It is ideal for scouts, on vacation and for family hikes. Its handle is very resistant to shock, water and extreme temperatures. Its heel is equipped with a whistle with a range of approximately 300 m. Its stainless steel blade offers a high quality and solid cut. The Virobloc® ring allows the user to lock the blade in the open and closed position, therefore making the tool safer.

• Blade length: 7 cm
• The tip of the blade is rounded to provide greater safety in use. It is also an ideal blade for spreading.
• Stainless steel is an alloy steel. It is obtained by adding chromium, which significantly increases its resistance to corrosion. Stainless steel does not require any special maintenance.
• The handle is injected with polyamide loaded with fiberglass which guarantees great resistance to shocks, water, and extreme temperatures (-40°C to +80°C). A whistle is integrated into the heel of the handle, without a ball it works in all weather, with a power of 110 dB, it has a range of approximately 300 meters in an open area.
• Invented in 1955 by Marcel Opinel, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all closing knives from No. 06 onwards. Cut from stainless steel, the Virobloc is made up of two parts: a fixed part and a sliding part. In addition to locking the blade in the open position (safety of use), it is now possible to lock the blade in the closed position (safety of transport).
