Pot Marie

Long and narrow, or on the contrary small and rounded, with large or small ears, some accidentally lower than others: no item in Marie Michielssen's papier-mâché collection is identical. The apparent structure of the material, deliberately coarse, the primitive light gray, black or red-brown colors, the manual stamp impressions reinforce the specific character of each pot, in all its imperfections, like nature with its creations.
